Jonathan Danilowitz
Contributing Writer and Middle East Commentator
Jonathan Danilowitz emigrated from his native South Africa to Israel in 1971 and has never looked back. Well, except to check on his hometown Krugersdorp now and again. Pained at the destructive results of mankind’s inhumanity to man, lack of consideration for animals, and apparent aim of self-destruction through environmental devastation, it’s surprising that he doesn’t suffer from ulcers. Vegetarianism may be the explanation. Jonathan’s Supreme Court victory in the battle for gay rights is a source of constant pride, and he doesn’t let you forget that easily. He lives a bourgeois life in downtown Tel Aviv, with his partner of 31 years. He loves complaining that he is severely computer challenged.
