Farzana Hassan

Farzana Hassan is an author and freelance journalist based in Toronto. She served as President of the secular Muslim Canadian Congress from 2006-2009 and currently sits on the board of directors of the organization. In 2009, she represented Canada as part of a three-member delegation to Syria to conduct citizen diplomacy. She has also presented at several other national and international conferences. She teaches part-time at Nipissing University.
